Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shetkari Sanman Yojana – 2017

Implementation began as per Government Resolution dated 28.06.2017. The duration of the scheme is from 01.04.2001 to 31.03.2016. Under this scheme, loan waivers were provided for arrears up to ₹1.50 lakh, a one-time settlement scheme was implemented for arrears exceeding ₹1.50 lakh, and farmers who made regular loan repayments during the years 2015-16 and 2016-17 were given an incentive grant of up to ₹25,000.

Under this scheme loan waivers amounting to ₹13,705 crore were given to 24.88 lakh farmers, A total of ₹2,630 crore was provided under the one-time settlement scheme to 4.27 lakh farmers, Incentive grants of ₹2,427 crore were given to 14.89 lakh farmers. In total, 44.04 lakh beneficiaries received benefits amounting to ₹18,762 crore. Under this scheme, benefits amounting to ₹5,975.61 crore are yet to be provided to 6.56 lakh loan accounts.</p.
