Protection of Stocked Chemical Fertilizers(Buffer Stock Scheme)

The demand compared to manure supply deficit of completing remove the central government’s directives. Central Government appointed the fertilizer companies to supply DAP / urea and the united manures by importing fertilizers protected reserves. State farmers timely fertilizer supply to the year 2001 from chemical fertilizers is protected by storage scheme. This scheme is being implemented by Maharashtra State Cooperative Marketing Federation Limited.

Before the start of the season for all districts in the State, fertilizers are stored and protected by the District Agriculture Development Officer under the related sale. Government guarantee will be given for the purchase fertilizer régime. For the implementation of this scheme in the state; state government provides funds for other expenditure (primary transport, secondary transportation, warehouse rent, portage insurance, interest on loans, etc.) to the marketing federation.
