    IFAD assisted Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra (CAIM) Project

    Development of sustainable agriculture based project ‘Convergence of Agricultural Interventions in Maharashtra’ with the prospected investment of Rs.593.23 crore is being implemented in six distressed districts of Vidharbha, with the assistance of IFAD from 4.12.2009. In year 2013-14 budget provision of Rs.2502.10 lakh is available. This amount is expected on various development works under this Project. During the current year the provision of Rs.2361.00 lakh is proposed for the project for year 2014-15.

    World Bank assisted ‘Maharashtra Agriculture Competitiveness Project (MACP)’

    To strengthen and modernize the basic infrastructure of agricultural marketing in the state, the World Bank assisted ‘Maharashtra Agriculture Competitiveness Project’ is being implemented in 33 districts of the state from 20.12.2010. Under this project, basic and productive infrastructure is to be developed in 100 APMCs, 300 rural haats, and 24 livestock markets. Moreover, warehouse receipt facility, e-trading of commodities, and organizing farmers among various ‘farmers common service centers (FCSC)’ will be facilitated through this project. In year 2013-14 budget provision of Rs. 6370.00 lakh is available and this amount is expenditure for various development works under this Project. During the year provision of Rs.5467.00 lakh is proposed for the project in year 2014-15.

    ADB assisted ‘Agri-business Infrastructure Development Investment Programme (AIDIP)’

    The ADB assisted ‘Agri-business Infrastructure Development Investment Programme’ is being implemented from year 2011-12. Under this project, Integrated Value Chains (IVCs) approach to high-value crops among 33 districts of the state will be adopted, in Public Private Partnership. In year 2013-14 budget provision of Rs. 400.00 lakh is available and this amount is expenditure for various development works under this Project. During the year provision of Rs.400.00 lakh is proposed for the project in year 2014-15.
